The All New Brilliant Baden Powell Maze at Bickleigh Opens Again
The 2007 Amazing Maize Maze at Bickleigh, Tiverton is once again open for fun and games throughout the summer. The 10 acre maize maze is commemorating the Centenary Year of Scouting. The Scouting Movement started in 1907 by Robert Baden Powell who held the first camp on Brownsea Island in Poole harbour, Dorset, launching a worldwide phenomenon. Since then, millions of children have found friendship and fun by joining the Scouts. There have been many famous scouts for example Richard Hammond, Ross Kemp, Ray Mears, David Beckham, to name a few. Today there are 28 millions Scouts spread across the globe.
Spend the day in the beautiful Exe Valley having lots of fun searching for our infamous brass rubbing puzzle with topical clues to help when you are lost in the twisting paths of Maize corn. Come along and have a go at the super new brainteasers and find the bridge spanning the paths and a look-out tower to help find fellow maze go-ers. There are pedal Go-Karts for budding Lewis Hamiltons, mini tractors and pedal go-karts for little drivers.
You may be lucky and spot a Kingfisher or a Heron!

The Maze at Bickleigh is open every day throughout the summer holidays from 14th July until 9th September, 10a.m.- 5.30p.m.
Admission is only £4 for everyone, under 5's are free. Group tickets are available.
The Baden-Powell Maze is situated at Bickleigh on the A396 between Exeter and Tiverton. The Maze is easy to find just follow the AA signs in Bickleigh, we are next to Bickleigh Mill, which is renowned for it’s restaurant and toy shop and unique all round shopping experience.
